When you first get your candle, do not trim the wick. Let your candle burn for 2-3 hours. Soy wax has a memory and once the first burn has taken place, this will ensure that your candle will burn evenly every time. Keep your wick trimmed at 1/4'“. If your candle begins to mushroom or give black soot this means your wick is too long.
Please Remember to keep burning candles away from children and pets and always burn in a well-ventilated area….. Last but not least NEVER blow out candle use a snuffer or place the lid back on.
